Life has two sides, happiness and sadness, so people should be ready to face both the situations. There are many people who blame luck for their failure. But today we are going to tell you about a person who, despite being paralyzed, never gave up in life and illuminated the name of the country on the basis of his ability.
Malathi Krishnamurthy Holla was born on 6 July 1958 in Bangalore. His father ran a small hotel and his mother took care of the house. When Malathi was 1 year old, she developed a very high fever and it paralyzed her entire body. His family members did not understand at that time what had happened to their daughter all of a sudden. Seeing his innocent little girl in this condition, there was silence in the whole house.
For two consecutive years, the doctors kept giving electric shocks to Malathi, after which it had an effect in his upper part. But there was no change in the lower back, due to which she became paralyzed in her childhood.
But even after being disabled, Malathi never gave up in life and he made his weakness his weapon. Malathi Krishnamurthy is determined to do something big in life no matter what happens.
After this, Malathi made this weakness his strength and chose sports. It was not easy for her to do this, but with the help of her courage and family, she went ahead in life. He started running daily, during which he also had to face a lot of pain. Leaving her pain behind, when she entered the Para Olympics, she won gold in the 200m, shotput, discus and javelin throw.
Holla is an International Para Athlete of India, she has been awarded with Arjuna and Padma Shri.
Malathi works as a manager in Syndicate Bank, and runs the Mathru Foundation for 16 disabled children. It is a charitable trust which he opened with his friends. The story of Malathi Syndicate is very inspiring for us as they faced challenges time and again but they beat all the challenges every time.
So far, he has received around 300 medals, including Arjuna and Padma Shri awards. He won the 'Paralympics in South Korea, Barcelona, Athens and Beijing', 'Asian Games in Beijing, Bangkok, South Korea, Kuala Lumper' and 'World Masters in Denmark and Australia', 'Open Championship' and 'Commonwealth Games'. He also represented India in Malathi works as a manager in Syndicate Bank. Struggle with her troubles yet strong with determination, this woman with the help of her friends also runs 'Mathru Foundation' which currently provides shelter to 16 physically challenged children.
This will also be said to be an achievement of her that her memory is also very good, she can remember the account number of her 6000 bank customers.
On 8 July 2009, he presented his first biography 'A Different Spirit' to the public. In which he has kept all aspects of his life open in front of the people.
